“My coaching experience with Angelo had been really wonderful! I had an unfortunate accident where both my knees were injured and I couldn’t walk, squat, or perform leg movements without much pain. During that time, Angelo and I were talking about him training me after my doctor cleared me, and 4-5 months later I was finally cleared. Angelo started me off with specific workouts to help build some of the weakened muscles around my knees. After 1-2 months of training, I went from being unable to squat with my body weight to squatting at depth with 225 pounds. We then moved on to deadlifting, RDLs, goblet squats, etc.. when we hit months 4 to 5 I was deadlifting over 400 pounds, squatting over 450 pounds, and benching around 290 pounds. The process was long and difficult but thanks to Angelo’s dedication to seeing things through every step didn’t feel as bad and I retained a lot of the knowledge he shared with me along the way. “Angelo coaching me has been nothing short of incredible! When it comes to my philosophy of lifting, the technique is everything and once I realized Angelo had the same opinion, I knew that my trainee experience under Angelo was going to be great! And it sure was!

At around the very early months of my lifting career, I had the intent of powerlifting in the future but felt like I needed to fully grasp the fundamentals of the big three lifts (SBD) and most of what it takes to do these lifts under maximal loads and Angelo has helped me do that and has made my introduction of Powerlifting great! When Angelo started coaching me, we started off with a tech block to clean up technique on my lifts and it definitely was rough at first considering that I had to pretty much throw most of what I knew about the lifts technique-wise and to build my form up from scratch but once I got into the groove of it, it was smooth sailing from then on! Angelo coaching me had improved my technique on the lifts so much to where I was very surprised with the numbers I put out during the peaking phase before my first Powerlifting meet. I was putting up numbers on the lifts that I thought I’d never get close to or at least never had the confidence to because of my technique before but with Angelo coaching me, I was hitting PRs left and right, week after week through the peaking phase!

“Working with Angelo has been the best decision I’ve made. I previously had a traumatic ankle injury from high school that I believed would hold me back quite a bit, but I was completely wrong. Angelo has improved me as an athlete beyond my expectations, both in the mental and physical aspect.
